Hello sir, It's here I am using tally, not getting correct average in FIFO basis. After buying an item for different price the price getting Average And after the sales of first purchased qty it's Automatically Came the same price last purchased. Not showing Average. eg : if i buy an item 10pcs *60 Rs and 10 item* 50 Rs, The average become 55 Rs, After the sale of 1st 10 qty the cost showing not 55 Rupees, it will become 50 only. This may cause to Loss. May be coming opposite also last buyed for More price than before, its showing a high price Have any solution for Getting CORRECT AVERAGE on FIFO BASIS
If you are referring to the RATE coming during Sales voucher entry.... that behaves differently......... and it will take the last PURCHASE values.
FIFO, LIFO etc....valuation is applicable only for stock summary and other reports............e.g. Closing Stock valuation
While passing a purchase entry Tally shows the last purchase cost because generally current purchase cost is compared to the latest(last purchase) cost in the record, instead of the average cost of pending stock quantity that was bought over a period of time.
