Kindly read my query again..... What is the PURPOSE to total the rates??? If that were really required and important.... forget Tally, even other software manufacturers would have totaled it up. Nowhere in accounting systems that totals is required or serve any purpose whatsoever. Still if you require, find the PART of that field, define the Totals at the part level and in the Total Line, define your totals by using $$Total.
