Dear Admin / Experts, when we use below code, it completely restricts to proceed further if same Stock Item been selected or repeated item...If we want Notification / Alert for duplicate or same repeated item selection in both Purchase / Sale Voucher Entry then what is solution? Admin already hinted to Use with NOTIFY but not getting result ---- Plz suggest #Field : Vch StockItems Unique : Yes / No
in Sales/Purchase voucher entry screen.........Press F12........ select ..... consolidate Qty of StockItem with same Rate and say YES.
Sir, I am not making detailed report or anything...just using this kind of small code file want to make a kind of tool which can restrict item duplication...I tried adding this in Field / Report level but not getting desired result...that's it....I came to know that using a few lines [codes] one can make better useful tools i.e. lines, bg col, disable menus or button etc...by this way I try to understand coding and learning...Thanks for this platform and Helping
NOTIFY works and is best suited for this purpose. However in absence of any code that you have tried, I cannot help you further in this. Need to see the code or attempted code, to understand what is wrong and where to rectify.
