how to alter batch Name

HI,

I enabled the batch in stock item master. while doing sales entry, i have entered wrongly the batch name. Please tell me how to alter the batch name

I want without using TDL

 

Take back of Tally Data.

• Export all the Voucher which you want to modify via daybook.
• Delete those vouchers in Tally from the same screen.
• Open XML file using Note pad..
• Replace old batch name with new batch name
• Go to Tally.ERP 9 --> Import of Date --> Vouchers
• Specify the XML path to upload these altered transactions.

 

give text format for trial to alter the batch name

 

Hi..
Batch Number cannot be altered in Tally.. you can replace it with new number,
just alter the sales voucher, in the batch allocation select new number instead of your existing batch number
and type your new number and save it. the previous entered number will get replaced with the new number.
