Hi & good evening everyone. I have a situation where I have to open ledger and refresh each voucher by opening voucher and pressing enter enter enter till end. I would like to know if there are any possibilities where we can select ledger and give the period and can use TDL to refresh all vouchers instead on opening each single voucher and pressing enter enter till end.
I would appreciate for any hint on the same so can start working on it. I think of Walk code but not aware of that.
    Tnx...

Just curious..... what situation is that....that you need to refresh the vouchers?

A faster method is to open vouchers and press Ctrl+A, instead of enter, enter, enter.........

Is this is one off situation or a regular one where you need to refresh the vouchers??

    Hi Sir,
I have a case where I have entered many vouchers with bill-wise details YES and given new references against each entry, but now I have modified the ledger, just only changed bill-wise details from YES to NO, and now I want to remove all the new reference / against references, but for that I have to open each voucher and do Ctrl+A, is there any way via TDL that we open that ledger and refresh vouchers for any given period.
    Tnx..

    Open the vouchers....press Ctrl+A....finish.

By the time you or anyone makes a TDL....the manual way would be over.

another method..... turn ON the bill-wise.....
then make a dummy receipt/payment entry as the case may be and set off the whole outstanding of that ledger.......
    Then turn OFF the bill-wise...
    then delete the receipt/payment entry.

Sir, thanks for the suggestion, it is very good idea, my purpose is to remove Un-Adjusted Forex Gain / Loss appearing in Ledger. I don't know if I am doing in correct way or not, the following steps I have tried and got the results as below:
    1. Bill-wise details------->Bill Settlement Entry--------->Ledger NIL ------------------> Passing Forex Gain / Loss entry------>Nothing appears when doing Bill-wise..Perfect.
2.Later I changed Ledger to Bill-wise NO-----------> Then deleted Bill Settlement Entry as well as Forex Gain / Loss entry------->Now still I get Forex Gain / Loss differences.
    3. Next Step I repeated No. 1, and then passed Forex Gain / Loss entry and removed all Forex G/L, now I get clean ledger without Forex G/L, Now I changed Ledger Bill-wise to NO and later I only deleted Bill Settlement Entry and Forex G/L entry let it be there.

Now if I open any entry and save it (Ctrl+A), then again Forex G/L will appear, OR if I pass new entry in same date of Forex G/L or before data of Forex G/L, I will again get Forex G/L, so now I have to lock the period after Forex G/L entry.
Thanks sir for your valuable suggestion, I really appreciate.

Any ledgers having FOREX Trxns, will have a "auto" Forex gain/Loss entry...which is actually not a accounting entry, but a indicator that forex gain/loss entry is applicable to this ledger. And this has nothing to do with Bill-wise set to YES or NO.

Try opening a dummy company with ledgers on forex and experiment around and understand. It is same as Sales Invoices to be booked, in case you have set up Receipt note / Delivery note.
