Replace Ledger and Stock Item in Voucher Entries

Dear Friends with this TDL you can replace an accounting ledger and/or stock item from entries on the screen in Ledger Report or stock item report or Daybook

Menu-Display Daybook,
Menu-DisplayLedger,
Menu-DisplayStock Item .

Version 1.4 Menu
moved to Utilities Menu


This tool is handy when you have lot of entries in which you have entered a wrong ledger or stock item and now want to replace it .

This tool will search for ledger and stock item in selected vouchers and modify them with new ledger and stock item.


. look for button RBCRPLC ledger or RBCRPLC Item on right side button panel.

Only selected lines/or vouchers/ledger will be altered .

use select all button to replace all vouchers at one go..

Original Tally reports not modified .. new reports are used to perform operations

Nice concept. Will have a real application in getting rid of duplicate Ledgers and Items created accidentally.

One small issue, though I couldn't find time to rectify or go deep into it, its not working on Purchase entries showing some error of dr cr not matching. When ever I get time I will find out the issue either at my end or the code.

You are right... but I forgot to check it even though I had noticed it earlier with purchase entries.. This may be due to reason that in sales entries stock is entered as negative while in purchase entries as positive.. the error lies in inventory allocation and batch allocation..
