1. MasterID of the Ledger will remains same even though the Name of the Ledger is changed N no. of times alter (Via Ledger Master)? 2. Will GUID of the Voucher will remain same as long as Voucher is not Deleted, even though N no of times altered ? Hope a useful information, Requested your Responses/View
As far as my experience says.... it will remain the same.......... However, do not know, if it will be same under the following circumstances....... a. Re-write of the Data (either manual or auto re-write when Tally comes with a higher version and which needs re-writes of data) b. Change in Company Name. c. Change in Company Number. It would be better answered, if you direct your query to Tally Solutions, for a definite and more surer response.
One thing I tried; Deleted Ledger and Created New Ledger with Same Name, Found : "Tally is allocated New MasterID".
