Field Attribute – Table Search We have introduced a new field attribute called ‘Table Search’ to achieve the above capability. Syntax [Field: <Field name>] Table Search : <Enable reducing table search>:<Apply search to all +columns> Where, <Enable reducing table search> – A logical value(yes/no) to specify whether we want to enable the reducing search or not. <Apply search to all columns> – A logical value(yes/no) to specify whether the search criteria should apply to all columns of the table or not.

sir you can see that froam tally erp 9 version 1.61 there is a option in f12 configuration menu called "Table Configeration". I m explaining the function--------------------- say i type for the ledger "discount" now if i type "scount" tally will show error messege, but from 1.61 version if i type "ount" tally gives me all the ledgers which includes the ledgers scount.including the ledger discount.but the provided sample tdl dose not give me the function. may be there is a error in it , i want the table search function which can work in version 1.1. please help
Hai, You must understand the functionality of TDL, Table search functionality is included in Release 1.61 and above if you apply the same in Release 1.1 you cant get that functionality.
NO Sir with due respect i Want to state that There are some problems in this file, because no tdl sample file runs , there may b copyrigt issue.
Hello, There is no copy right issues, you are checking for the lower release it gives the problem, all the sample codes are working fine, you need to enable them properly.
Hello Mr.Raj Bhatt, Once again check with code, you have send the partial code, if you are using the sample code downloaded in the sight and then check with full sample code and enable the main file. so that the code will work. Can you tell me you understand tdl or its structure. You are saying that without headlights you want to drive the vehicle in the night time how it is possible. You have taken the partical code from the samples file and trying to executing how it will execute? Please try to Understand the TDL hierarchy or order of execution, Menu-->Report-->Form-->Parts-->Line-->Field Any program need this if you use the complete sample code all the above will be taken care, if you split the same and try to execute the same this hierarchy should be followed. This is the helping forum. First try to understand the TDL Concepts and its functionality which will help you for any time in design the tdl program.
