Dear Sir, Tally.Erp9 taking long time (more then 1/2 hour) when loding company and checking balance. How to resolve this problem ?
Kindly let us know how much data? i.e. No of Stock Items, No of Ledgers, No of Vouchers, and is excise applicable and how many financial year's Data in that company which you are opening.
You have set almost all in the right direction for the maximum performance of tally erp 9 in a network environment. Hope you have set the firewall /antivirus exceptions for the data folder too. And the tally erp 9 versions on the all machines are same. it should not be 6.4.5 on one and 6.4.6 on another. If possible work only with one company. Try to close multiple companies opened. Use switch instead of a hub IP of Tally server and proper port no. should be there for each node. e.g. Tallylicenceserver = 192.168.0.1:9000 (server ip: port no.)
