dear all,
by default tally have procedural capablity
so by passing sql statments in calculator panel we can get report in short code.
for eg. to get address and other details of a ledger you just paste this code n calculator panel and enter

Select $Name,$Parent, $VATTINNumber, $IncomeTaxNumber , $LedgerContact,$LedgerPhone,$Address,$StateName,$pincode,$InterStateSTNumber,$ExciseRegNo From Ledger

Please tell me code for TAN no, service tax no

 

you can get these method names from dvmode or xml or tallt defaut codes. try its not so difficult.

 

Sir what is the tally default code for service tax & TAN number. Is it $STRegnumber or something else.
