Use Stock Item First Item:Water in Ltr Second Item :Can in Nos Third Item packed Water: In Nos Make Manufacturing Journal for Decreasing Water and Can and for production of Packed water. sale invoice should mention Packed water as item. When the cans are returned You can show sales return at Zero value/Scrap Value (if you are not refunding any amount for that can) which will increase the number of can to orginal state regards Jobimon

I wanted to share some more ideas which will make concept more practical 1. whenever we sell a water can a stock item " empty can" should automatically posted to the party in the same sales voucher itself ( as party has to return it) 2. one more option of returning of empty can has to be made in the said invoice in addition to the usage of you idea of manufacturing journal and the same has to be deducted from the stock item empty can. 3. if possible a table has to be made available for remaining empty cans with the party as you have done for previous balance status. 4. if the above points are covered then at any point, empty can position can be accessed even party wise hence, kindly suggest your valuable solution in this regard. warm regards, kiran
