    Hi
I am a bit new on tally developer, i am trying to export report as a pdf, however the report does includes Arabic text which decoded as questions marks ???, if the export to image there was no issues

Any guide on what to include as a format parameter prior to the export action?

TRY WITH LATEST ADOBE READER OR FOXIT READER

    Hi
    thanks for your prompt reply
basically we do have the latest version of ADOBE and we just tried with FOXIT, all giving the same results, even when manually export ,the DayBook for example, specifying the Portal Document Format, as a file type.
There is no other options to specify other parameters or drivers type. I think the internal export procedure in Tally use ASCII instead of the UTF or Unicode to export, this is might be the reason with questions marks displayed instead of the text.

I'll be much appreciate it for all of the contributions to resolve our issues.

You will get better results by talking/chatting with TALLYSOLUTIONS directly.

If the core code permits your problem will be solved. Do the same and also apprise here, in case you have managed to find a solution from them. It might help others, who need to export in a different language.

    Hi
in fact the export is being made using TDL file, and not manulayy, as part of uploading the pdf to archive.

I have been in direct call with Tally solutions, and sounds that they are working on certain fix t be ready later.

we would believe that the export command of Tally using ASCII in the header instead of UTF8, this is why we have this questions marks.

if anyone were able to resolve the issue, thanks to share with us any findings.

Thanks again to all of the teams in this forum.
