For long time I felt need to change the Invoice Format in Tally. The default format (even Simple) is very specific to Trading and Manufacturing Units. I searched all over the internet for service specific tally invoice format even looked and tried some in Tally Shop but all lacked in something or the other. Honestly, I even looked here for some free codes readymade solution to save time but did not find here also.

A few days back I thought why not ask Amit Sir (I thought him to be professional TDL Developer who develops and sells TDLs) as I was ready to pay. I asked him in chat box. I cannot recollect his exact reply but what I understood TDL is his passion not something for selling. This inspired me to get down and do the hard way to write the code for myself. And the result is (See Attached):

Finally I was able to build an invoice format in Tally for myself that exactly meet my needs.

BIG THANKS TO TDLEXPERT.COM & AMIT SIR

very well done, glad my NO ...inspired you.....

I had said I do not have time to sell, as am not a professional developer, but a businessman first. Hence not much time. I have so many half finished codes and I have yet to find time to read the Developer manual in full. What I know is only from my experience in practical coding.

Keep on doing Bud......... btw..... change the "original for recipient" to "original for Client" AND "duplicate for supplier" to "duplicate for office"
