Sir can we create meter reading in Tally. The report has to show values daily. This report should not carry forward previous day balance values. example: on 01-04-2021 opening is 100 & closing is 150. Balance value is 50 Same way on 02-04-2021 opening is 150 & closing is 250. Balance value is 100 Previous day closing automatically becomes next day opening. The report should show balances as 01-04-2021 as 50, & 02-04-2021 as 100 Kindly help

store closing meter reading in voucher type. this make easy to call closing meter reading as opening meter reading from voucher type for next day. then enter closing meter reading this replace in voucher type as closing meter reading.
