How to Learn Functions

Dear All & Admin,

I want to Learn Functions in Tally, How I can Start to Learn it. Please share me, if anybody have idea or suggestion.

 

In tally developer Educational version left side gives you what you require.

You can get list of functions in TDL from below link but for the parameters and descriptions you have to eigher search in tdl default source or follow given instructions given by Mr. Jobimon.

Thanks A lot, But These are default functions, I want to write my own functions. This will help me. but concept wise i will not able to understand basics.
I want to know basics of functions writing. For example : We want to write tdl for a report (balance Sheet) and basics to write a report are
We have to create - Report > Form > Part > Lines > Field > Field Value like this.
it means from where we should start functions, what is the sequence to add parameters etc.
