How to transfer whole data of companies b/w two tally instance

    Sir,
    I need to restore backup data of a company from one tally instance to another.its working fine when the number or id of the company which i want to restore is same in both tally instances.But i cant able to do this when the company having different numbers or ids.

    Please Guide me to solve this problem...

    Dear Vinodkumar

    I am not clear about your requirement. If its related to duplicate transaction from one company to another company then use Sync.

    First of all why do want to transfer??

    If it is backup then copy paste the data folder..

    If some body want to enter data in other company.. do synchronize...

    i know its very late to reply on this thread...still one entry can be transfer from one company to other company using xml tags.. :)
