I feel more happy that I'm going to do my first post.... I've seen elsewhere, no such forum is this free of user friendly. and I am just a follower to this forum since a year... and couple of months before I was asked to register to download some code which i was in utmost need. I admire the members of this forum who are eminent programmers of TDL....especially The "Jobiman" id holder... I've tried to read many of his codes... but I'm still a basic learner, I wouldn't understand his codes. It seemed to me how these guys use some odd names(like DSP Template, Expinv Coltitles etc.,) which i don normally use as a variable names....(its so big to use as variables., in c, c++, even vb programs i wont use this big variable names) Later I found out these are all not variables... these are predifned words in basic tally itself.

It took five months for me to understand that this TDL program would actually require most of the token names which are predefined in Default Tally..and just a week before i came to know this TDL is space insensitive and case insensitive.. gosh....without knowing this I was using the search option to find definitions...LoL..... and at the same time I've found that the combine clicking with ctrl button would take me to the particular definition...( how fool i was....I should've read the manual.. but in the starting time it gives me only the sleep.)

I was too much grateful to this site which is the easy access platform for various TDL necessity.... Eventhough I'm not good at this language.... I've enhanced my little brain so that I can find a solution to my least possible solution.... I understand I've a too far way to go inside of TDL... to initiate the journey.... I've written a code for myself(actually significantly altered the copy pasted code) to find a solution as my customer insisted me that he will not approve my invoice unless the invoice matches his format. My subordinated helped me to create in excel(simple file... not even macro managed) .... but that didnt work well.. it needed to be changed every where even if for a small..... I've written my own code for the problem with the help of various forums, blogs....This formu's contribution helps a lot....
