Sir I am doing accounts where my party requires like follows One of my party sales Tamarind where stock is maintain by no of packs and according to packs its sold but bill amount is calculated on weight i.e. Weight * Rate = Amount but in stock report he wants stock calculation on no of packs. No of Packs weight various from pack to pack (sir i now about alternate qty in tally but its not usefull because my customer bill is maintain in this ways (Purchase entry) no of packs gross weight rate amount 1 55 Kgs 100 Per Kgs 550 4 201 Kgs 95 Per Kgs 19095 so the stock inward is no of packs 5 sales entry no of packs gross weight rate amount 1 54 Kgs 100 Per Kgs 540 4 199 Kgs 100 Per Kgs 19900 Stock is nil there is weight loss /gain also which is not counted in stock.
