Dear Sir I want to make changes in auto voucher numbering when i delete any voucher in past date the serial number will remain constant does not shuffle and when i create any new vouche in past date the system alot last number as new number the serial of numbering will remain constant either i delete or insert vouche in any where and we use voucher numbering in automatic mode not in manual and when i wnat to change any voucher numer system allow me to change number duplication not allow Suppose i want to chang voucher number 100 into 105 if 105 already aloted system does not allow to chane number and if it is not aloted so system allow me to change Duplication of any numer is not allow Plz tell, is it possible
You can not do any changed in Auto Numbering bcz it is controlled by Tally kernel Level. Possibility is, use numbering method as "Manual" with prevent Duplicates. In the vouchers, instead of Typing Manual Number you can auto fill this by Previous Number + 1 Check the Logic in Default TDL for ALT + R in voucher number, this is gives the previous saved Voucher Number. Add +1 to this number in the current voucher to make this voucher as Auto manual. The Standard Module of Auto Manual Numbering works on this.
Dear Admin sir, But In this method maintain Two Financial years get Error Ex, 2013 - 14 Have Sales No : 1 2014-15 Also Have Sales No : 1 But Prevent Duplicates Using and give the no 1 Duplicate Error Coming If we not give Prevent Duplicates and make vouchers the Same Nos are coming with One Financial Year Also . Please give the Solution
