Dear All, It is possible in Tally itself for tracking the warranty of Item. Just little bit of concept & logic. Follow the following Steps :- 1. Batch Wise & Expiry Dates in F11 Inventory Features should be set as yes 2. Create Item with Batch Wise & Expiry Dates as Yes 3. While entering the purchase voucher give the Batch / Unique identity for tracking on that basis ( For Eg. Supplier name or Del Note No. or Product Sr. No. ) depends on ur need & easiness ) and give mfg date ( Item Recpt Date ) and Expiry Date ( Warranty period ) 4. While passing the Sales entry select the particular Batch Name of which item is sold. 5. That's it now you can view any report and track the warranty as well as rejection of item can be tracked if it is properly acoounted. 6. For Reports go to Display -> Inventory Books -> Batch. rest configure as per your need. So Warranty tracking is very easy just by making some logic and codes for the easiness
