    Hi ,
Members, This post was actually Made by One of Member, I think Aniket.
I have added something into code.

    Purpose of Module
    ============
Ever wanted to Lock the Tally Applications does not want anybody else to Check the Tally data without your Permission like how u lock your Computer pressing CTRL +ALT +DEL and user has to enter the Password to Re-login.

Yes, This module does something similar to Mention above. If user suddenly has to leave the Seat for some urgent work for some reason he does not Have to Come out of Tally or Lock the Computer so that somebody get into Tally. Now Before leaving he just have to Press Certain Key Combination to Lock Tally Application so if anybody wants get into Tally he has to Input the Password, which is known to User only.

How to Install and Use of Module

    1) Module Runs For Tally ERP9 Rel. 3.6 and Above

    2) Copy the Attached File into Tally Folder

    3) Start Tally – Press F12 – Product and Features – F4 – Say yes to Load TDL on Startup

    4) Nxt Line add the Path of File Copied eg : D:\tally.erp9\tallylock.tcp

    5) Save the screen

    6) Restart the Tally

    7) Now it will ask to enter the password – Default PWD Is “sol”

    8) To change Password goto Configuration (Press F12) – Last Option Tally Application PWD – Change the Default password Here

    9) Again restart and check with new password

    10) Now whenever you want to Leave the seat keeping Tally on just Press Ctrl + C will Lock Tally and Password screen will be popup

Please Revert with Your reply and Suggestions
    Thanks

This can be controlled through programming that user is not able to use F4 key after pressing F12.

    Dear All,

There is a way to Control Users Rights Thru Windows utility .
    1. Make Two Security leavels in windows login 1. Admin 2. User
Then restrict User to Change Any kind of file in Tally Erp9 Folder or Move or Delete File.
