Tally to Excel through ODBC

Dear Sir,

I want to specify the period in Excel Column for Ex In First Column - From Date (01-Apr-2012), second Column - To Date (01-Apr-2

012), based on that i want to pull the data from Tally.

For Ex: Ledger Name & Closing balance (for the period enter in the excel)

Please advise me.

I am also looking for solution in the same matter. I want to link tally data to excel in some of my reports through ODBC. I am able to find ledger list and other master details but unable to get opening / closing balance and transaction data on or within a cut off date. Kindly help if I can get it with your help.
